Tyler returns to Sierra College after playing his freshmen year for the Wolverines in '17 (Redshirted in '16). Last season he earned himself 1st Team All-Big 8 pitching honors leading the league in strikeouts with 78 while throwing 76 innings. After the year he redshirted he made himself a promise that he would never underachieve again. Going into his sophomore season, Tyler received a scholarship from Long Beach State; he accepted it and will attend in the fall of 2018. For the upcoming season he wants to see the Wolverines excel and play with a big chip on their shoulder. He knows the team will not let anything get in the way of them making the post season. His best memory from baseball was when he was a junior in high school. Going into the game he needed 5 strikeouts to get 100 on the year and by the time the game was over he had found out that he hit his mark of exactly 100 strikeouts. He said it is one of the biggest accomplishments he's completed and can't wait to see what the future holds.
