Meet the Women's Aquatics Coaches for 2025 - 26
Jake HastieWomen's Water Polo Head Coach Coach Jake is returning for his 4th season coaching the Men's Water Polo team. It will be his first year coaching the Women's Team. He helped lead the Men's 2022 team to a 3rd place finish at State Championships. In 2023 & 2024, he helped lead the team twice in Top 8 Finishes. He also coached over 10+ Girls and Boys teams at Junior Olympics with Sacramento Water Polo Club. He is a 3x All-American Alumni of the Wolverines Men's Aquatics Program. Coach Jake also assisted the Men's Swimming State Championship teams in 2023 & 2024. In 2017 and 2019, he led Sacramento Water Polo teams to Budapest, Hungary. |
Chris BreitbartWomen's Swimming Head Coach Coach Breitbart has been coaching the Men's Swimming and Water Polo program at Sierra College for 25 years. In addition to his time with the Wolverines, he has coached USA Swimming for over 20 years. In his time at Sierra College, he has coached five 3C2A State Championship teams and has been named 3C2A State Coach of the Year six times. |
Morgan Jones "MoJo"Assistant Coach Coach Morgan, or "MoJo", is returning for her 4th year of coaching the Women's Water Polo and Swimming programs at Sierra College. Along with coaching at Sierra, she has coached many age groups at the club level for water polo with Sacramento Water Polo Club. She is an Alumni of the Wolverines Aquatics Program and was part of the 2018 3C2A State Championship Water Polo Team. After Sierra College, she transferred to Sonoma State University to play water polo. |
Megan HertelAssistant Coach Coach Megan has coached many age groups at the club level with Sacramento Water Polo Club and Huntington Beach Water Polo Club. For almost 10 years, she has coached at Del Oro High School with the water polo and swim programs. She has also been a Head Coach for the Olympic Development Program at the Youth, Cadet, and Development levels. Megan played and swam at Golden West College where she helped win two 3C2A State Championships in Water Polo and a 3C2A State Championship in Swimming. |
