Bio
Coach Martinez graduated from Cordova High School and California State University, Sacramento. This is his 22nd season coaching at Sierra College. During his tenure, the team won the state tournament in 2007 and claimed three state dual titles. He has coached 89 state placers, 64 All-Americans, 31 state finalists, and 16 state champions. Previously, he served as an assistant coach at Cordova High School for six years and was the head wrestling coach at Natomas High School for 23 years. He is retired and has 10 children and 16 grandchildren.
