Bio
Michele Granger brings over 25 years of coaching experience across all levels of softball, including recreational, travel ball, and high school programs. She began her collegiate coaching career at the University of Tennessee, later volunteered at Sierra Junior College, and most recently coached at Cal Poly. As a player, Michele was a legendary left-handed pitcher at the University of California, Berkeley, where she set multiple NCAA records, including most no-hitters in a career (25) and most strikeouts in a seven-inning game (21). She was a four-time First-Team All-American and went on to represent Team USA on the international stage. Granger pitched the first-ever Olympic softball game in 1996 and helped lead the U.S. to a gold medal. Her decorated playing career and deep coaching experience reflect a lifelong dedication to the sport and a passion for developing athletes at every level.
