Bio
George Moreno returns to his alma mater to mentor the cornerbacks. A former standout corner himself, George grew during his time at Sierra College into a Division 1 scholarship player at UC Davis. In his final two seasons of eligibility he appeared in 22 straight games for the Aggies. Coach Moreno followed his collegiate career with a year playing professionally in Europe for the Hamburg Pioneers (Germany) in 2024.
As 3-sport athlete at Reed HS in Reno, in addition to starring on the gridiron he was also named Northern Nevada's Male track athlete of the year in 2018 (sprints & hurdles).
