Skip Albano enters his fourth season with the Wolverine staff. Albano was the Defensive Backs coach on Ben Noonan's staff in 2014. After a long stint as a Granite Bay assistant for Ernie Cooper's Grizzlies, Albano was named the Head Football Coach at Granite Bay in 2013.

After graduating from Del Campo High School, Albano attended American River College, Sierra College and Sacramento State, where he earned his BA. He received his MA from CSU Bakersfield. Coaching experience includes 18 years at Bishop Union HS, Woodcreek HS (1998-99), Granite Bay HS (2000-04, 2007, 2011, 2013), and Oakmont HS (2005-06). He coached internationally in Austria, Italy and Switzerland, leading the Austrian national team to the 2011 world championship.

Skip lives in Granite Bay with his wife Janet. They have two grown children, Chelsea and Chris.
