Coach Hilton is in his first year at Sierra and will be mentoring the Linebackers. He brings 24 years of coaching experience to the Wolverine sidelines from coaching stints at high schools, Mesa Verde, Golden Sierra, Placer, Rio Americano, Del Oro and Bear River.
He attended Ukiah High School playing football, basketball and baseball, where he was Athlete of the Year in 1984. He then transferred on to attend Cal State Sacramento getting his B.S. in Criminal Justice. He played Hornet football 1985-86, where they were conference champions.
In 2012 he was Sierra Delta League’s Coach of the Year while at Golden Sierra, their first undefeated league title.
He’s married to Julie and has two children, Olivia and Carly.
